Gender and Power

This undergraduate introductory course explores the intricate relationship between gender and power within contemporary society. Students will examine the social construction of gender, delving into how cultural norms and societal structures shape our understanding of gender identities. The course will emphasize intersectionality, highlighting how various social categories such as race, class, sexuality, and ability intersect to create unique experiences of oppression and privilege.
